Work you'll do/Responsibilities

  • Support ongoing maintenance and improvements to a client's AWS environment
  • Manage cloud implementations, upgrades, migrations, and change requests on client cloud environments
  • Create, implement, and assist in the development of scripts to automate everyday operations
  • Monitor and maintain multiple (Infrastructure) environments based on client requirements
  • Responsible for the configuration and setup of backups as well as setup automated AWS patching for Windows and Linux platforms

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
  • 5+ years of experience with planning, developing, and implementing AWS Cloud environments
  • Demonstrated experience in AWS storage encryption, data at rest, and data in transit
  • Automation scripting experience with GitHub, Jenkins or scripting languages including (Ansible, Shell, Bash, Perl)
  • Deep knowledge of both Windows and Linux servers
  • AWS Management Services experience (CloudWatch, ELB/ALB, S3, EC2 autoscaling, CloudTrail and AWS Config), AWS workspaces, and AWS directory Services
  • Strong expertise in CloudFormation and other AWS services, such as VPC, subnets, bastion hosts, and security groups
  • Strong knowledge of computer infrastructure, such as networking, firewalls, load balancers, and auto-scaling
  • Ability to support tools needed to run cloud environment, e.g. authentication and access management, monitoring and logging, and frameworks/tools such as Active Directory, Centrify, ELK, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with the DISA STIGs, and working knowledge/experience in cyber security
  • Must be able to relocate or live in the Gilbert, AZ area

Travel Requirements
Travel up to 20% annually (While 20% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
