Work you'll do

  • Design, Configure and Implement SAP cloud applications such as Ariba, Fieldglass and/or Concur. Activities include, but not limited to: core setup, workflow administration, reporting, data imports, and third-party software integrations
  • Perform advanced configuration including system rules, new UI fields, workflows, reports etc.
  • Maintain pace with SAP cloud product releases
  • Maintain and adhere to configuration management, release management and software development best practices working with Architects
  • Communicate implications in architectural decisions, issues and impediments during design review, development / support to Architects
  • Develop training materials and provide end-user training on using Ariba, Fieldglass and Concur
  • Provide operational support to customer and partner teams, including direct interaction with senior management team
  • Maintain training and knowledge through self-learning, attending conferences and vendor seminars
  • Providing support / guidance to the development, configuration teams during the analysis, development, and testing processes
  • Review and approve 3rd party integration solution architecture based on established enterprise application strategy in partnership with Architects

Deloitte Application Studios (DAS)

Deloitte Application Studios (DAS) is the internal software and applications development team responsible for delivering leading-edge technologies to Deloitte professionals. Their broad portfolio includes web and mobile productivity tools that empower our people to log expenses, enter timesheets, book travel and more, anywhere, anytime. DAS enables our client service professionals through a comprehensive suite of applications across the business lines. In addition to application delivery, DAS offers full-scale design services, a robust mobile portfolio, cutting-edge analytics, and innovative custom development.

Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of IT experience in cloud software applications preferably SAP Ariba, Fieldglass and/or Concur
  • 3+ years of experience as Ariba and/or Fieldglass technical specialist
  • 3+ years of experience in configuration management of SAP cloud applications
  • 2+ years of experience in integration of SAP cloud applications with ERP like SAP S4
  • 2-4 years of experience in database technologies like Oracle, SQL Server
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
  • Experience with web-based technologies; AJAX, HTML5, JavaScript/jQuery, Angular JS and CSS3
  • Experience with messaging architectures, SOAP and REST
  • Travel up to 10% (while travel of up to 10% is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • SAP Ariba or SAP Fieldglass training and/or certificationsis a plus
  • Must have clear communications skills both oral and written
  • Ability to negotiate in a non-confrontational manner to deliver a clear, well-structured and concise argument to support your opinion, using facts, pro's/con's, business justifications and other persuasion methods
  • Must have ability to work in fast paced environment, balance priorities and juggle multiple tasks at once
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must possess a strong desire and clear understanding for high customer satisfaction
  • Must be flexible, have good energy, easy to work with and a team player
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with third party plug-ins that offer cost effective business solutions
  • Prior experience in supporting proposals and providing written content for future prospects
  • Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and reasoning skills to earn support of business leaders, technology leaders, colleagues, and vendor representatives
  • Capable of building sustainable relationships with colleagues and key individuals
  • Creativity and ability to think outside-the-box while defining sound and practical solutions
