Work you'll do

You along with dynamic colleagues will help companies develop, implement, and operationalize multi-channel customer interaction capabilities for both external and internal customer-facing operations. As a Manager, you will lead and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions for large companies. Manager level responsibilities include: providing service excellence by identifying key client business issues, determining client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis and developing recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagement. You will be expected to implement and oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance. Managers participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities. You will have the opportunity to lead small engagements or components of large, complex engagements.

Qualifications

Required:

  • A minimum of 6 years consulting and/or industry experience is required
  • 3+ years of Oil, Gas, & Chemicals experience is required
  • Experience leading or managing teams and change initiatives (especially in a project management role)
  • Record of consistent career progression with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Must live within commuting distance to one of Deloitte's consulting offices
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Travel up to 80-100% (While 80-100% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.).

Preferred:
  • An advanced degree
  • Experience with budgetary responsibilities related to projects or resources
  • Experience creating robust business cases
  • Experience conducting performance analysis utilizing system and human generated data
  • Experience identifying potential add on opportunities with existing clients
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint).
  • Professional competence in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
