Work you'll do/Responsibilities
Working on some unique projects in our sector, you'll have the opportunity to improve the way health systems provide patient care through working closely with our healthcare clients to translate business needs into appropriate healthcare data interoperability solutions. Your time will be spent not only designing, building, and testing the interoperability solutions, but also engaging with our clients' business and information technology stakeholders to prepare them to adopt the solutions.

  • Engage with our clients' business and information technology stakeholders in order to identify data interoperability issues
  • Analyze and translate business needs into appropriate solutions.
  • Identify strategic technology standards, frameworks, principles and roadmaps to be used by our client organizations
  • Combine industry best practices with your technical knowledge to generate value propositions and approaches to solve client business challenges
  • Draft and communicate future data interoperability strategies and vision.
  • Periodically lead or support the design, development, testing and implementation of interoperability POCs and solutions
  • Maintain knowledge of current and emerging healthcare data technologies, products and trends


The Team
Our Digital CARE team focuses on EHR and supporting system implementations, ongoing support, optimizations, enhancements, rollouts and upgrades.

Qualifications

Required

  • Project experience in driving the architecture, design and delivery healthcare messaging and APIs, integrating disparate healthcare systems, and multiple integration engine / ESB experience
    Experience in healthcare operations, clinical environment, or healthcare IT setting
  • Experience in healthcare operations, clinical environment, or healthcare IT setting
  • Deep experience with healthcare industry data standards (e.g. HL7, HIPAA, FHIR, IHE)
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field
  • Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools
  • Solid analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to identify issues, prioritize and problem solve to resolution
  • Superior communication and customer service abilities
  • Team player with the willingness/ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Travel up to 10% annually
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred

  • Advanced degree in related field
  • Ability to adapt and operate effectively in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum
  • Programming work experience
  • Completion of HL7 FHIR trainings (fundamentals, intermediate) and/or certification exam
