Job Summary

The Contract Analyst will serve as a representative for two or more distribution channels. This position will be responsible for timely and successful entering of Group Case Information in the Policy Admin System including Master Policy and Certificate Fulfillment. The Contract Analyst is expected to prioritize service functions, executing tasks and responsibilities while building and maintaining positive relationships with Home Office Partners. Additionally this position will have direct ownership of a block of business as it relates to entering case information, loading rate information and policy fulfillment.

This position requires strong relationship management, communication, judgment, organizational skills, and problem resolution to meet the diverse needs of our brokers and employer groups.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Implementation and Account Management team to successfully onboard new lines of coverages and new groups
  • Complete Group Set-up functions in Policy Admin System
  • Complete benefit and underwriting parameter setup functions in Policy Admin System
  • Proactively monitor and manage a block of business to ensure complete and accurate Policy Administration System set-up
  • Produce Master Policy contracts within 10 business days of hand-off from Implementation Manager not to exceed 30 days of enrollment file processing for each case owned
  • Review, troubleshoot, and resolve issues reported by print vendor on daily failure reports
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal departments including claims, premium, underwriting, enrollment services, and sales to provide timely and effective resolution to any service challenges, contract changes, policy updates, or errors; effectively communicate findings to the appropriate parties; take initiative and follow-through as the liaison with other internal departments as necessary.
  • Proactively manage expectations of clients, brokers, and BDMs/AEs to address issues as they arise while concisely and effectively communicating status, issues and timelines.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships and rapport with internal and external clients.
  • Build trust-based working relationships with broker/client counterparts and home office staff.
  • Perform fulfillment setup tasks when needed
  • Assist with file processing tasks when needed
  • Assist with new hire onboarding process
  • Perform other duties as assigned
