The HR Business Partner, will provide HR support for our Company's Manufacturing and Supply (MS), Global Quality (GQ) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) Organizations in our Company's Manufacturing and Supply ( OMS ) Organization. The HRBP coaches the leader and his/her leadership team and provides expertise in the development & development & support of the organizational talent and diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEI&B) strategy, talent management, strategic workforce planning, organizational design, restructuring, change management, leader effectiveness, performance management, compensation and rewards, and labor & employee relations issues. The HR Business Partner implements strategies that support clients business strategy, improve morale and employee retention, enhance safety and wellness, strengthen relations between founders and Organon and promote the organization's values.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR and executive coaching support to leaders in the GQ & Global SCM. Create and drive the talent and DEI&B strategy and initiatives for the assigned organization.

  • Support all talent management, organizational design and organizational alignment activities within client group(s). Lead client restructuring activities, when necessary. Contribute to organizational change management activities, when necessary.

  • Coach leaders and members of leadership team(s) to successfully manage role model our talent and performance philosophy and feedback culture all cyclical people management processes (talent management, succession planning, performance management, compensation planning, etc.).

  • Work in close partnership with the L&D teams to Pprovide learning strategies and solutions to support and enable talent strategy.

  • Work in close partnership with the Global Talent Attraction (GTA) teams to Talent Attraction support and on point for local in-market GTA activities.

  • Provide leadership and project management to critical HR initiatives across the OMS, as needed.

  • Collaborate across the HR network and with other stakeholders across the organization to resolve escalated issues and generate solutions to enable client’s business strategy.

  • Provide Employee Relations advice and consult to managers on items such as performance management/improvement, issue/conflict resolution, policy, procedure, law and standards education.

  • Work in close partnership with regional/local experts to provide Labor Relations advice and consult to managers and union officials including contract interpretation expertise to management, assisting management with investigating, answering and resolving grievances and providing labor relations support in preparation for and during contract negotiations.

  • Provide consult on Compensation & Benefit strategy & execution, which may include competitive benchmarking, pension program support, benefit enrollment, local vendor management in close collaboration with local HR partners

Education Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience as an HR Business Partner, in an HR COE or in HR Operations role (with Masters’ degree, minimum experience is 8 years); or relevant applicable experience.

  • Proven track record with a minimum of 10 years’ experience.

  • Demonstrated HR functional competence in one or more HR disciplines.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively influence, consult with and coach senior leaders and managers.

  • Ability to strategically prioritize time and problem solve against most impactful activities and initiatives.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Superior interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to demonstrate and foster collaboration among peers and extended HR organization.

  • Experience navigating and leveraging HR systems and data analytics to support client consultation.

  • Able to operate in an ambiguous environment.

  • Stimulate out-of-box thinking.

  • Encourage diversity of thoughts.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Previous HR Business Partner experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in organization development such as organization design, change management, workforce planning.

  • Knowledge of employment legal practices and policies.
