What you’ll be doing...

The Executive Producer of Photography, reporting into the Managing Director of Integrated Production, will be a key member of the larger integrated production department and will work closely with the creative team to help lead, build, and develop a world class brand imagery team. This role will be responsible for leading all things photography production and will develop, plan, and coordinate multiple productions from concept through completion. This dedicated, motivated, and enthusiastic person will take full ownership of projects and oversee all steps of the production process. They will be well-versed and passionate about a wide variety of photography production techniques from lifestyle, portrait, tabletop through to product and accessory.

  • Producing complex, profile integrated (photography and supporting video) productions from concept through completion.
  • Building out a roster of trusted photographers and creators so that we are able to respond quickly to urgent business needs.
  • Creating and managing an "overall vision" for each production.
  • Interfacing with stakeholders and the business units and work closely with their teams to ensure needs are met and offer creative solutions for each project.
  • Having an overall creative point of view for the specific productions and being able to deliver the CMO’s vision successfully, while maintaining the integrity of the brand.
  • Owning and managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely completion of deliverables within budget.
  • Partnering with a creative team to deliver upon their vision, while adhering to budget and schedule parameters.
  • Engaging professional development to continuously grow in your profession and remain competitive with outside services.
  • Sourcing and managing multiple external vendors and partners.
  • Actively managing internal production resources.
  • Negotiating complex vendor and talent contracts.

Where you'll be working...

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned weekly office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.
  • Experience in a reel or portfolio.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree, preferably a BFA in Photography or Design.
  • Experience in leading large-scale photography productions.
  • Knowledge of modern digital and video production equipment and processes, including experience with multiple video formats.
  • Knowledge of talent and production unions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in detail oriented with good observational and presentation skills.
  • Experience in time management, flexibility, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in managing and hiring external creative partners (photographers, directors, editors, external producers, hair stylists, makeup artists, wardrobe stylists, prop/scenic designers).
  • Experience in casting and booking models/actors.
  • Experience in still and motion licensing, hiring, negotiating rates, and contracts.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity.
  • Ability to adapt well to changing priorities, deadlines, and directions.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and help bring energy and enthusiasm to the team on a creative level.
  • Ability to work well leading a team and be comfortable both giving direction and receiving it from others.

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.

If you are hired into a New York work location, the compensation range for this position is between $95,000 and $177,000 based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
