Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an Executive Director, Global Marketing Disease Lead Women’s cancers.

The Executive Director will develop and execute business plans through marketing strategies, goals, plans, and tactics. This position will require outstanding leadership in all areas of product management including market assessment, disease state strategy, product clinical development, business development, product strategy, market development, branding, market segmentation, product positioning, thought leader engagement, promotion, channel strategies, pricing, market access, reimbursement, competitive dynamics, issues management, forecasting, opportunity valuations, resource requirements, and overall flawless launch execution.

The role requires engaging stakeholders and leading global commercial activities in three spheres:

  • With our Research and Development (R&D) organization through membership of product development team and other cross functional teams

  • Across global functions including market research, market access, medical affairs, learning and development, CORE, etc.

  • Colleagues in regions and markets responsible for ensuring adoption and use of our inline portfolio and upcoming launches

Key responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:

  • Overall responsibility for the development and adoption of the business strategy to build a global leadership position for our Company Oncology in Women’s Cancer (with a focus on either Breast Cancer or Gynecology cancers portfolio).

  • Provides commercial leadership and input on such activities including commercial lead on product development team, target product profile development, health authority interactions, global regulatory filing strategy, launch readiness reviews, key customer management, organized customer interactions, market research, product promotion, demand, revenue, and Profit & Loss forecasting, Business Development & Licensing activities, and agency partner management.

  • Building and leading a commercial team, work effectively with cross-functional partners including research and development, market access, medical affairs, regulatory affairs, manufacturing, Business Development & Licensing, market analytics, field sales organization, international and domestic operations, legal, scientific communications, professional education, training and development, health care compliance to successfully navigate the internal and external environments and deliver value to our customers

  • Responsible for achieving key business outcomes at a global level, including maximizing physician acceptance, market penetration, profitability, and new indication launch uptake

  • Provides direction, support, and expertise to country marketing and sales organizations as well as prioritization of content and portfolio across various channels

  • Build strong high performing teams and develop and coach team members


  • Required: Bachelor's Degree (ideally in a life science/ science/ analytical area)

  • Preferred: Master's Degree or Doctoral degree (MD, PhD, JD, Engineering, business)

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 10 years commercial experience; total of 15+ years experience

  • Product Launch experience

  • Landscape/ Marketplace assessment experience

  • Development of product strategy, product positioning, and brand marketing

  • Comfort with and strong interest in scientific underpinnings of our clinical trials and those of competitors to effectively engage internal and external experts on best clinical strategies

  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to work and make decisions while dealing with ambiguity

  • Agility to learn quickly and adapt to changing environment, flexibility in managing and adapting to evolving internal and external dynamics and needs

  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills

  • Must be able to influence without authority as well as work collaboratively in cross-functional teams

  • People management experience

  • Oncology Commercial experience

  • Oncology launch experience

  • Global Marketing experience

  • Women’s Cancer (Breast, Ovarian, Endometrial, Cervical, Women’s cancer experiences)


  • 25% including some weekends

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.

Expected salary range:

$235,280.00 - $370,400.00
