But unlike other domains, the conflicts in cyberwar are typically asymmetric and rarely military on military. Rather, nation-states, criminal organizations and terrorist groups are targeting civilians and the infrastructure which underpins the services driving the economy. With the advent of Cloud / Hybrid Cloud and the risk this poses to data security the stakes are increasingly higher. Cybercrime continues to be an existential threat to the US and global economy. Within IBM's North America Security Service practice, we are constantly seeking security skills that can further enhance the depth and expertise needed by the marketplace.**Your Role**The Executive Consultant in the IBM North America Cloud & Infrastructure Security (CIS) Services practice is a senior advisor that can speak to the security landscape and have the ability to communicate effectively with senior members of client management and/or executive teams. You will demonstrate thought leadership, sales leadership, and delivery leadership in Cloud & Infrastructure Security with strong and applied cloud/hybrid cloud related infrastructure security skills around the leading cloud providers including IBM Cloud, RedHat, GCP, AWS, Azure, etc. As a trusted advisor, you will be an industry recognized leader who understands the challenges clients face when moving to cloud and be relied upon to solve these challenges as a leading expert in the field. You will be a role model for practitioners in our delivery organization providing direction and expertise in the areas core to protecting organizations with workloads spanning both on-prem and cloud.**Key attributes you will possess, and showcase includes:****Strategic Vision:** You have a proven track record as an accomplished security strategist and technologist comfortable with driving business change and innovation. You will showcase a track record of devising win themes around highly complex solutions that you can represent at the Senior Management / C-Suite leveraging your established relationships.**Leadership Effectiveness:** Leading hybrid cloud security in a digital transformation era underpinned by the journey to cloud requires strong leaders. Motivating highly technical groups of individuals toward teamwork and a common purpose requires emotional intelligence combined authority and accountability. You will possess the ability to balance a personal agenda and goals with those of IBM and our clients while cultivating and active network of relationships inside and outside of IBM.**Marketing and Sales:**+ Be comfortable and accountable to financial targets realized by creating and executing security win themes driven directly and through IBM cross functional teams+ Present Cloud & Infrastructure Security offerings and points of view to clients in sales calls and present at conferences+ Work with clients to define requirements and subsequently design solutions to meet client needs+ Provide demonstration of IBM credentials in the Cloud & Infrastructure security domain+ Establish demonstrated client relationships in key accounts to help progress the Cloud & Infrastructure Security Services portfolio and cross-sell into other security competencies+ Work closely with the solution design teams in developing client presentations and Statement of Works (SOWs)**Your Abilities & Skills**+ Work with solutions teams to provide content to drive deals+ Demonstrate credentials in one of the core security domains and also represent overall IBM security services capabilities+ Work closely with the solution design teams in developing client presentations and Statement of Works (SOWs)+ Become a recognized thought leader in one of the core security domains, utilizing conferences, white papers, client presentations to build awareness of IBM credentials+ Use your expertise in the security industry to contribute content and advice to the offering development process**Your Security Domain Knowledge:**+ Depth of knowledge in one or more of the Infrastructure and Cloud Security domains+ Network Security Architecture specially across major cloud environments (AWS, Azure, IBM, Google)+ Securing SD-WAN infrastructure / Cloud Security Access for SD-WAN infrastructure+ Software Defined Perimeter+ Secure Access Service Edge+ Zero Trust Security Architecture+ Network Segmentation / Cloud Based Micro Segmentation+ Lifecycle based Container Security+ Securing Cloud Network and Endpoint security infrastructure across using native cloud security tools**Your Responsibilities:**+ Drive Infrastructure and Cloud Security domain strategy and innovation+ Drive pursuits and engage in complex deals, matching outcomes to expectations+ Organize project approaches and teams for client delivery+ Participate in project delivery, to varying degrees depending on project complexity+ Provide delivery oversight for the core Infrastructure and Endpoint Security engagements+ Establish strong client relationships in key accounts to help progress the Security Services portfolio+ Research and contribute to the development of new security offerings+ Drive standardization across engagements by creating reusable methods and artifacts+ Develop written program materials, including executive level reportingRequired Technical and Professional Expertise+ 7 or more years of experience in management consulting and systems integration in a top tier professional services firm or equivalent demonstrable experience+ 7 or more years of experience working in projects related Infrastructure Security and / or more of the core security domains+ 3 or more years of experience working in projects related to Cloud Security+ Experience working across diverse teams to facilitate solutions+ Experience working with Security practitioners+ Readiness to travel up to 50-70% across North America+ Basic knowledge in security industry regulations/standards (Payment Card Industry (PCI DSS), HIPAA, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)) and compliance frameworks (ISO 27002, NIST, Cobit)+ Hold a CISSP, CCSP or related industry designation+ Bachelor's degree in a related field AND/OR equivalent, applied and demonstrable expertisePreferred Technical and Professional Expertise+ 10 or more years of experience in management consulting and systems integration in a top tier professional services firm+ 10 or more years of experience working in projects related to one or more of the core security domains+ Advanced degree in related fieldAbout Business UnitIBM's Cloud and Cognitive software business is committed to bringing the power of IBM's Cloud and Watson/AI technologies to life for our clients and ecosystem partners around the world.
