IntroductionThe Security Delivery Project Executive (SDPE) is responsible for the overall success of the delivery of Security Services to a Canadian client during Steady State. The role is targeted at ensuring client needs are met by constructing partnerships between the client and various IBM internal units - including IBM Security and/or client Project Offices, Security Services resources (consulting, systems integration, managed services, off-shore delivery and subcontractors) and IT / network service providers engaged by the client - and managing the implementation of these partnerships to drive positive customer satisfaction.The Security DPE will work closely with other service towers within IBM to provide best in class Security Services to the client. This role will also ensure the financial success of the account by overseeing financial management activities with contract management and Financial analyst teams. This role will also partner with the sales team and the broader IBM leadership to harness expertise in new opportunity identification by leveraging existing client partnership and expertise and thereby helping grow the overall security footprint as required.Technology Scope: The incumbent will oversee delivery and governance around the following managed security services technologies such as Managed Infrastructure & Endpoint Security (Managed FW Cisco, Checkpoint, IDPS, CASB, Secure Web gateway, Remote Access, PKI/KLM) , Identity and Access Management (Platform Support, MFA) , Managed Detection & Response , X Force Threat Management (Q Radar), Vulnerability Management Services, Security Incident Response & Intelligence Service - Tier 2, Security Risk Management, Consulting etc.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesLocation for this role: Calgary, AB+ Be the single point of contact for day to day delivery excellence of IBM Security Services to the client. Provide delivery leadership to the Security Services delivery teams and direct teams to develop program / project strategies and implement resulting solutions to meet contract deliverables and Client expectations.+ Oversee delivery operations in the account - including reviewing delivery of services to scope and defined schedule, actively participating in scope change discussions, managing to the financial targets, coordinating resources and contract changes, managing Client expectations and satisfaction, communicating effectively and consistently with Client and IBM stakeholders on program status and/or issues, bringing thought leadership or sharing best practices with the Client on topics of interest, etc.+ Lead IBM Security Services resources - inclusive of employees and contractors / subcontractors that report into various internal IBM teams and coordinate with client resources to deliver in scope services and solutions on schedule+ Coordinate all governance processes including Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly reporting and client briefings.+ Implement project plans and Installs, Moves, Adds, Changes (IMACs) approved through Change Management+ Work with various Security teams to remediate vulnerabilities and communication action plans to the client+ Participate in annual continuity, security audit, policy and system reviews+ Manage quality of Security Services provided by the delivery team(s), and track and report on service level performance by the operations teams+ Serve as point of escalation with accountability for prompt identification, resolution and communication of delivery issues (i.e., contract gaps, resource or schedule issues) that may impact client satisfaction and/or Security Services revenue and profit+ Responsible for managing delivery critical situations, leading root cause analysis, building get to green plans, and continuous improvement plans+ Work with the security work streams to design and build operational and monthly program status reports and present to the Client, adapting messages to the level of audience (i.e., operations management, C suite, etc.)+ Support the Security Project Executive (SPE) and/or Associate Partner in identifying growth opportunities and contract profitabilityTechnical expertise in managing service delivery around one or more of the following: Managed Infrastructure & Endpoint Security (Managed FW Cisco, Checkpoint, IDPS, CASB, Secure Web gateway, Remote Access, PKI/KLM) , Identity and Access Management (Platform Support, MFA) , Managed Detection & Response , X Force Threat Management (Q Radar), Vulnerability Management Services, Security Incident Response & Intelligence Service - Tier 2, Security Risk Management, Consulting etc.Required Technical and Professional Expertise+ Proven track record with delivery management in a matrixed organization and managing issues and program risks+ Information Security / cyber security knowledge+ Minimum 5 years of experience in complex project / client management, delivery management having led large transformations or services take overs.+ Knowledge in contract management, financial management and compliance+ Highly adaptable and able to lead matrixed teams through changes+ English Fluent (verbal and written)Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise+ Professional qualifications/certifications in project management and/or security preferred+ Canadian Secret Security Clearance - L2+ Experience managing a Security Operations Centre+ Prior experience with managing services for clients in the Utility Industry.+ Knowledge of IBM Security portfolio and GTS processes preferred+ Bi-Lingual - English and French Fluent (verbal and written)+ Must be eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship+ Please note that this is an internal only position and limits candidates to current IBMers in the same country and legal entity as the positionAbout Business UnitIBM's Cloud and Cognitive software business is committed to bringing the power of IBM's Cloud and Watson/AI technologies to life for our clients and ecosystem partners around the world.
