IBM Executive Cloud Architect

IntroductionAs an IBM Executive Cloud Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesThe IBM Cloud Lead Architect leads platform architects to ensures value prop, and tech capabilities for hybrid cloud seamlessly integration with IBM Cloud platform native services and capabilities. IBM Cloud Lead Architect, is a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.**Responsibilities:**+ Experience owning the End-to-End technical solution of the overall Cloud Migration & Modernization effort. Expertise in Cloud platforms such as IBM, AWS, Azure or GCP+ Advise on Cloud Container Re-platform and Refactor Modernization Architecture & Technology+ Expertise in technical definition in containerization of applications leveraging OpenShift and Kubernetes+ Known as recognized Thought Leader, with proven track record driving pattern identification and estimation of the application workloads, migrated & modernized to the target Cloud environment+ Acts as a Trusted advisor for the client by listening to their pain points and considering the industry the client sits in+ Design Modernization strategy and identifying the need for containerization, API, Microservices creation or other forms of Modernization+ Interfaces with client executive(s) to clarify technical program status, value proposition and ROI in a clear and concise manner+ Simplifies the solution approach by adopting a continuous modernization method*+ Promotes innovation across the solution and delivery phases by leading the Design thinking workshops and leveraging Agile methodologiesGBS10APRequired Technical and Professional Expertise+ Bachelor's degree in computer science or other engineering discipline+ 15+ years of industry experience as an Architect, with 8 years in cloud+ Deep practical experience in cloud infrastructure, network and security+ Deep practical experience in containerization of applications leveraging OpenShift and Kubernetes (such as ROCKS, AKS, EKS ..)+ Experience with container deployment on IBM and/or other Cloud platforms+ DevSecOps experience+ Multi-cloud Management experience+ Cloud Platform Certification in IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure or GCPPreferred Technical and Professional Expertise+ Acts as a Thought Leader, team player and a team leader+ Excellent written and verbal communication+ Hands-on style work approach+ Possess confident analytical, creative, problem-solving and critical thinking skills+ Other Cloud Platform Certifications are a plus: AWS, Google Cloud, AzureAbout Business UnitIBM Services is a team of business, strategy and technology consultants that design, build, and run foundational systems and services that is the backbone of the world's economy.
