What you’ll be doing...

The CSG Finance Systems Leader will be responsible for the finance systems platforms and partners. This hands-on role will partner with senior-level development managers, architects and business leadership to develop and execute the technology product roadmap. The ED, Finance Systems Leader, reports to the CSG SVP/CIO. This role will work closely with senior leadership and peers across Verizon’s Global Technology Services (GTS) and the Corporate Finance functional domain.

Responsibilities:

• Lead client requirements gathering and market research to develop industry leading technology roadmaps with an aligned multi-year investment portfolio

• Lead client advisory meetings and development partnerships

• Partner with other product managers and development leadership as well as the executive team to prioritize product initiatives

• Develop the technology product roadmap which supports the business strategies such as 1ERP

• Communicate the technology product roadmap to internal and external stakeholders

• Manage product management staff for the technology infrastructure teams

• As the Product Owner, drive the Agile process and create a culture of continuous improvement of processes and methodologies

• Manage key initiatives to ensure achievement of critical milestones and results

• Provide expert guidance and critical analysis of proposed changes during design reviews and product demos with an eye towards simplicity of design and function

• Keep abreast of existing and emerging technologies impactful to our business

• Act as an escalation point for client services

• Speak at public events and author industry articles as appropriate

What we’re looking for...

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering or Math or equivalent experience

• 10+ years of related experience

• Technical product management experience preferred

• A bias toward architecture evolution that continually adds business value

• Experience delivering software solutions that support and transform business operations

• Knowledge of corporate finance including but not limited to Accounting and Billing operations, Financial Planning and Analysis, Treasury (technology, financial instruments, workflows, etc.) preferred

• Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements specific to the Financial Services industry

• Strong analytical skills, with ability to collect, absorb, and analyze information quickly and independently

• Ability to develop recommendations, form judgments and make decisions based on existing available data
