Eatons Industrial division is currently seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Supervisor to join our team. This position is based at our Aerospace Headquarters in Irvine, CA. Relocation assistance is provided.Position Overview:A member and leader on the Aerospace Group finance team. The position reports to the Manager of FP&A and is instrumental to supervise the preparation and analysis of financial data related to Profit Plan, Strategic Plan, Forecasts and Actual results. This role is tightly linked with Corporate Reporting and Analysis and the Industrial Sector, with interaction on a consistent basis. The FP&A Supervisor provides financial analytical support to the entire SLT for the Aerospace Group, as well as other functions within the Group. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with established Industrial Sector and Corporate requirements; responsible for conformance to Corporate Policies, legal requirements, Sarbanes-Oxley, and GAAP. The FP&A Supervisor will drive process improvement initiatives to enhance management business insights, improve finance functional performance and efficiencies, and strengthen internal controls. Ensure forecast and results are sufficiently analyzed and properly and accurately reported and explained via reporting and analytics. This reporting is distributed to Corporate and Industrial Sector Senior Management and Aerospace Group Senior Management.+ Responsible for financial leadership, cost out, reporting, analysis, and support of the strategic SCM projects directly to the Aerospace VP of Supply Chain+ Provide financial leadership, reporting, analysis, and support to the VP of Manufacturing Operations for strategic initiative+ Play a key contributor and leadership role in the annual profit planning process, including all supporting schedules and analysis. Assist in the preparation and review of the strategic plan financials.+ Supervise the consolidation of cross-functional materials for monthly operating reviews, in accordance with standard presentation requirements; prepare or oversee the preparation of strategic and ad hoc analysis to be included in operating reviews+ Prepare and supervise various ad hoc analytical studies at the request of the Manager and/ or Group Senior Leadership Team; provide analytical support to other functional leaders (manufacturing, supply chain, sales, etc.) as needed+ Assist and coordinate within the Group, working with the Divisions, on the transparency, accuracy, and timely completion of key financial deliverables such as monthly actual results, monthly rolling forecasts, Profit Plan, Strategic Plan, quarterly reporting requirements, etc.+ Perform liaison functions between Industrial Sector, WHQ, Group and Group Divisions for financial analysis and reporting. Including Manufacturing, R&D, and Development Contracts.+ Identify areas for financial process improvement and lead the improvement efforts. Develop and implement standardized reporting packages for all forecast and plan review calls.+ Assist Corporate Staff, Functional Staff, General Accounting, Encore, Tax, Treasury, and Internal and External Audit in matters of providing interpretation of Group financial data.+ Perform performance evaluations and drive the development of direct reports+ Manage integration ledgers as needed if acquisitions occur.+ Ensure compliance with established Corporate policies, SOX and GAAP+ Establish and document standard work for all standard processes+ Support the Aerospace Headquarters accounting, budgeting, and profit planning as neededWhen we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we as individuals and as a company are stronger. QualificationsRequired (Basic) Qualifications:+ Bachelors degree in accounting, business and/or finance from an accredited institution+ Minimum five (5) years' experience in an accounting and/or finance role+ This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.
