Eatons Electrical division is currently seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Syracuse, NY facility. Relocation assistance is offered for this position.Position Overview:#LI-TB1This position will assist in the Financial Planning & Analysis and Performance Controlling activities of the Crouse-Hinds, B-Line, and Oil & Gas, EP North America organization. The role is responsible for consolidation, reporting and analysis of monthly results, forecasts and plans. The position requires a high level of detailed analysis in a complex organization, and the ability to be highly responsive and accurate. Its where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potentialand where you can help us reach ours.In this role, you will:+ Lead analysis of actual results, forecast, and annual planning & implement best practices as it relates to financial planning and analysis including processes, systems, tools and techniques+ Analyze historic performance to understand root-cause of issues and support improvement efforts going-forward; proactively perform forward-looking analysis and identify areas of improvement for management attention+ Provides guidance to stakeholders on all finance related matters & ensures compliance with reporting guidelines and standards+ Partners with the Engineering organization on R&D performance vs. budget, NPI tracking, assistance with product road mapping and development and execution on key strategic initiatives+ Partners with the commercial organization on product line reporting, development and execution on growth initiatives, establishment and administration of vertical market indicators, and perform competitor analysis+ Partners with the HR organization on the development and execution of headcount activities, ensures proper alignment of headcount to the financials, and assists with the development and administration of bonus/commission plans+ Responsible for building organizational capability and serving as a mentor and coach within the function+ Establish and monitor staff performance and development goals, set objectives, and determine priorities+ Lead special projects on an ad-hoc basisWhen we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we as individuals and as a company are stronger.We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
