What You Will Do
You will be responsible for leading the planning and communications and assisting with the execution and enhancement of our Finance & Accounting Rotational (FAR) program. You will oversee the management of several Financial Analysts within FAR, serves as a member of the FAR program management office (PMO), and is the main contact for between five and ten rotational analysts and their respective business managers. In addition, you will employ innovative strategies to design, develop and deliver technical finance trainings and resources that will be deployed to Stryker’s global finance function via a blend of classroom training, virtual training, and on-demand video training.
Development
Execution of project plan and communication strategy of our FAR program ensuring consistency and repeatability of the onboarding, training, and development of highly talented finance analysts
Partner with members of Finance Training & Development, in the execution and enhancement of the FAR program, striving for efficiencies, and improving the multi-year leadership development experience of our FAR analysts
Directly oversee the development of five to ten Finance & Accounting Rotational (FAR) program analysts by conducting regular development discussions with analysts and their assignment managers, monitoring performance, providing coaching and feedback and identifying and tracking core competencies and key experiences
Training
Serve as a key contributor to FTD Academy, our portfolio of classroom and virtual trainings
Partner with SME’s to design training courses on intermediary to advanced technical finance topics and finance related systems for both domestic and international, as well as classroom and virtual audiences
Lead classroom “Core” finance trainings and regularly facilitate virtual instructor led trainings
Identify and implement innovative learning methods and solutions to address training needs
What You Need
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field required.
Certification (CPA, CMA, CIA) and/or Master’s degree (MBA, MSF, MSA) preferred.
6+ years of relevant experience required
Prior management experience strongly preferred
High level knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Prior training or teaching experience strongly preferred
CPA, CMA, CIA, MBA, MSF, or MSA preferred
High level presentation and communication skills
Demonstrated project management skills
Strong interpersonal communication and influencing skills
**You will need to live within commuting distance to our Portage, MI, Flower Mound, TX , Mahwah, NJ or San Jose, CA office. You will need to be in the office 2-3 days a week, but you will have the flexibility to work from home on the other days.**
