Job Summary:

Managing a team of 15, the SVP/DFO of Global IT Finance is a critical role, responsible for IT-related consolidated planning and forecasting activities, managing the monthly and quarterly accounting closes, and providing accurate, clear, concise reporting to the CFO Global Ops & Tech, Global CIOs and other key constituents on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. This role also serves as the liaison and key strategic partner between the Global IT organization and Finance, business segments and the executive team. Critical factors for success include delivering results while maintaining a detailed focus, ability to take ownership and meet deadlines, effective management and development of the team as well as working independently, identifying issues and developing sound recommendations for remediation, developing relationships, a willingness and desire to continuously build knowledge, and the ability to thrive in fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for building the Global IT consolidated annual plan, strategic plan and various instances of forecasting.
  • Responsible for monthly, quarterly, YTD and ad hoc analysis and commentary of financial results for executive management and business leaders, providing clear and accurate descriptions of the significant drivers impacting the results.
  • Identify and implement process and efficiency improvements across the IT Finance team, including identifying areas of manual process rationalization and automation and identification and implementation of technology solutions that can be leveraged across the group.
  • Develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures, ensuring that procedures and related documentation are designed and maintained so that internal controls are effective and functioning.
  • Ensure accuracy and transparency of data and all financial reporting at a detailed level.
  • Provide CIOs and leaders with relevant, timely, and impactful financial and analytical data to inform business decisions.
  • Support senior business and finance management in strategic IT and business initiatives.
  • Analyze data to support unusual activity, trends, or occurrences and inform management of the findings. Continue to follow up on issues through resolution.
