Job Description:

Key finance role partnering with Global Quality leadership, and indirectly with Global Operations and support functions (i.e. Corporate Finance, IT, HR).

The individual will drive FP&A agenda for Global Quality, provide financial support to each of the various Quality Leadership Team members and their functional areas, and participate in / support enterprise-wide strategic initiatives.

In addition, the incumbent will drive Continuous Improvement and reporting streamlining/efficiency related initiatives, including Value Capture, KPI, and dashboard automation.

Business Partnering:

  • Supports SVP, Global Quality in driving annual budget, quarterly projection, and strategic LTFP process. Manages financial matters related to the group and its headcount and activities (~$200M annually).
  • Acts as critical Business Partner to 5-6 Global Quality Functional VPs and respective Operations leads supporting preparation, analysis and presentation of financial projections, budgets, and variance analysis.
  • Leads ongoing monthly/quarterly closing requirements, needs for reserves, variance analysis with key commentary, and preparation of monthly financial reports
  • Acts as primary point of contact representing Quality for enterprise-wide initiatives and corporate integration activities.

Drives Innovation:

  • Helps to drive further standardization and optimization of processes, including identification and enablement of value capture initiatives.

Financial Stewardship:

  • Maintains internal control environment to the highest standards of compliance and integrity
  • Ensures compliance with all BMS policies and guidelines for business performance and reporting

Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA and/or MBA preferred
  • Minimum 5-7 years diversified experience in accounting and finance (FP&A)
  • Experience with development of annual business plan/budget, financial projections
  • Excellent business partnering abilities
  • High level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Solid working knowledge of accounting and planning systems
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls, strong financial and analytical skills
  • Strong communication, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix environment working with multiple levels of management and partners in various geographic locations
  • Self-starter, highly motivated and able to make decisions independently
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs
