Primary Responsibilities:
- The Accounting Supervisor in the SEC Reporting group will perform various functions in the following areas:
- SEC Reporting
- Prepares and reviews financial statements and disclosures
- Reviews and analyzes supporting documentation for appropriateness
- Coordinates with corporate functions (e.g. Treasury, Legal) and Segment Finance teams for various disclosures
- Actively conducts research to ensure compliance with applicable SEC/GAAP requirements and changes
- Reviews earning release documents and prepares supporting files
- Coordinates with the corporate legal team to file 8-Ks and other filings
- Presentations and Other External Reporting
- Reviews to ensure agreement with prior published information
- Researches and resolves discrepancies with the appropriate parties
- Coordinates with various departments (Investor Relations, Segment Finance, etc.) to ensure documents are accurate and fully supported
- Reviews and analyzes supporting documentation for appropriateness
- Monthly Close Responsibilities
- Prepares/reviews basic and diluted weighted share count
- Prepares/reviews monthly consolidated statement of cash flows
- Audit Responsibilities
- Provides applicable workpapers, documentation and responses to both internal and external auditors in a timely manner
- Reviews applicable workpapers, responses and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and appropriateness
- Escalates questions and issues to the appropriate audience (internal management, auditors)
- Communicates effectively with auditors at appropriate levels to resolve issues and findings
- The responsibilities of this position also include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Reviewing the work of others
- Developing innovative approaches for continued improvement in efficiency and effectiveness
- Serving as a subject-matter expert
- SEC Reporting

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Accounting
- 2.5+ years of accounting experience
- Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC standards
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA
- Big 4 public accounting experience, including exposure to public company financial statements
- Healthcare experience
- Experience with technical accounting research
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to effectively complete projects in a timely manner
