IntroductionAs a Package Consultant at IBM, get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients' business environment and achieve business results.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a Workday Financials Lead Consultant for Spend (Procure To Pay), you will demonstrate experience in the following areas:1. Project Lead duties:+ Lead one more concurrent projects.+ Help the Project Manager with planning tasks across all stages.+ Lead workshops and design sessions, translating client requirements into deliverable functional solutions adhering to best practices Use your consultative experience to develop non-standard solutions to plug any functional gaps+ Provide clear instructions & guidance to clients for populating workbooks+ Plan and lead building of all prototype tenants and migration to Production including smoke testing activities+ Deliver confirmation sessions demonstrating configuration in the prototype tenant builds, and ensure client team is prepared for testing+ Lead testing support activities to ensure defects are resolved in satisfactory SLA's+ Ensure all Delivery Assurance (DA) Checkpoints are in compliance completed on time+ Assist with Data Conversion & Reporting activities as needed+ Assist integrations teams with functional guidance+ Provide regular project status & budget updates to the Project Manager, highlighting and mitigating Risks and Issues early+ Provide clear guidance to the client team and your consulting colleagues throughout all project stage2. Spend (Procure To Pay) Pillar/Domain Lead duties:+ Develop and maintain detailed methodology and best practices for this area, ensuring consistency across all Financials areas, as well as aligning with HCM / Global teams+ Help build and manage a team of consultants. Guide and develop consultants new to Workday, both on projects and through internal training+ Collaborate and share knowledge on product, methodology & best practices with your team3. Pre-Sales / Solutioning Duties:+ Assist with pre-sales activities providing input into bids / proposals / SOW's as needed+ Ability to accurately estimate scope, effort and resources required to complete projects+ Develop and maintain Discovery Questionnaires, Scoping Documents / SOW's etc templatesRequired Technical and Professional ExpertiseMust have acted as Lead on 2 or more Large Enterprise End to End Workday Financials Implementations, demonstrating hands-on design/solutioning, configuration and testing experience in as many of the following Spend (Procure To Pay) areas:+ Supplier Accounts/Contracts, Procurement, Business Assets, Expenses and Inventory.+ Experience of global / multi-country deployments with localisation requirements+ Experience of building, managing and mentoring a team of Workday Financials consultants+ Be able to identify strategies, alternatives, approaches, risks, and mitigations to meet requirements, as well as assist in testing and resolving issues.+ Experience of developing methodology and continuous improvements in delivery+ Experience of assisting in pre-sales activities and ability to accurately estimate scope, effort and resources required to complete projectsWorkday Certification - Mandatory+ Workday Financials CertificationPreferred Technical and Professional Expertise+ Experience in Financial accounting and procurement roles.
