We Offer:

  • Full time paid internship, 9 months to a year duration.
  • Initial onboarding in the first weeks to learn about the company, our culture, values and ways of working.
  • Rotational development plan in areas of Accounting, Tax and Statutory matters, treasury, financial planning / Business support.
    • Continues development in business, financial and regulatory aspects in general and within the pharmaceutical industry, acquiring new knowledge and developing competencies in the fundamentals of Finance, Financial operations & processes, business insights, financial regulatory knowledge, business partnering and analytics & Reporting.
    • Support in start/continue developing soft skills, leading by influence, communication, and storytelling, working on a learning organization with independency & integrity.
    • Involvement in daily finance interactions with key business stakeholders in the organization, as well as special projects and other interesting aspects in the business financial and strategy of a company.
  • Assignment of a senior Mentor/Coach for the duration of the internship that will Support your development and that will be available to you for consultation.
  • Periodic evaluations with the objective of improving performance, review development progress and bidirectional feedback.

Key responsibilities

  • Support all critical FP&A processes for the market/markets with a lean and innovative approach
  • Provide decision support to FP&A Manager and Finance Director through and outside of planning cycles
  • Support performing forecasting/planning cycles
  • Involved in the monthly closing activities, as well as analysis and reporting to senior management (OtC, AtR, StS)
  • Establish stakeholder relationships with business partners, commercial teams and the finance network
  • Collaborate closely with Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to optimize local processes and deliverables
  • Continuously focus on process optimization and simplification
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the Spain and Portugal FD as need (FP&A, controlling and accounting)
  • Support analysis that enables commercial investments & new Business Development.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Pursuing Degree in Business/Finance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Able to synthesize data into clear and concise visuals and key take-aways
  • Fluent in English (proficiency level), other local languages are a plus and Spanish desirable.
  • Full Time availability, for a one-year internship duration (6 months + 6 months).
  • Have the possibility to take an internship in Spain
