Director, BPA - Product Strategy - Finance

The number of lives that were touched by Novartis medicines in 2022!<br><br>As part of our outstanding Finance Team, this role will focus on fueling the growth of US-IM Pharma products by devising innovative solutions to complex problems in forecasting, accounting, compliance, and project management. This role will be responsible for providing ongoing strategic, operational, and financial recommendations/ plans to the Product General Manager that will increase impact of our product(s).<br><br>Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<br>• Partner with the General Marketing Team, respective General Manager, Product Strategy Lead, Business Excellence lead as appropriate, to establish forecasts for the Budget, Latest Outlook and Strat Plan processes<br>• General oversight of all aspects of Product P&L <br>• Serve as active member of Integrated Product Strategy Team (IPST) providing financial guidance inclusive of resource allocation recommendations and trade-offs and overall performance management <br>• Provide thoughtful leadership and influence executive-level decision-making through deep analytical insight into core business decisions<br>• Structure and communicate complex, ambiguous and potentially challenging business issues to advise and challenge the IPST team. Contribute on matters beyond Finance<br>• Build a cross-functional network to tackle a wide range of analytical and operational questions<br>• Leverage data to drive analysis of business growth drivers and trends. Craft and present sophisticated quantitative analyses to translate complex data into actionable insights<br>• Develop suitable resource allocation budgets with GM team, ensuring that investment is used optimally, on strategy, and directly aligned with internal marketing mix models<br>• Lead quarterly performance and narrative with Business Excellence leads for Investor Relations meetings and deliverables<br>This position will be based at the East Hanover, NJ office and will not have the ability to be located remotely.<br><br>The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $158,400.00 and $237,600.00 per year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/23 through 12/31/23, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
