Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and report on financial performance for Medicare & Retirement (“M&R”) leadership
  • Refresh and tie-out monthly, quarterly, and annual financial data in Excel using Essbase. This includes but is not limited to forecast models, budget files, and monthly results
  • Assist in data control checks and validations, analyzing financial reports to identify data discrepancies or unusual trends, investigating with the M&R finance team, and summarizing findings and recommendations to senior team members
  • Contribute to team initiatives and reporting needs as requested
  • Support and help manage team documentation and organization
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Facilitate various ad hoc analyses and reports as necessary, collaborating with senior team members on path to completion. Drive progress on complex workstreams independently without requiring detailed direction

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of progressive financial experience
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Hyperion Smartview / Essbase
  • Demonstrated healthcare industry experience or interest
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and leadership potential
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully as part of a team
  • Demonstrated presentation skills
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to problem solve
