This position has responsibility and capability to work a single primary platform, requires resource to work on business requirement and review/validate accounting rules applied in Revenue Manager system. Analyst will work to research accounting issues as they arise, provide recommended solutions and work well in a team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with a team of developers to process information
  • Actively involved with the automation of manual processes
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years of financial and/or accounting experience and analytics using Excel, Power Query and or SQL
  • Experience with Hyperion Essbase, Planning and PeopleSoft Financials
  • Prior experience using database tools and spreadsheet software such as SQL and Excel
  • Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office products (Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong accounting acumen with knowledge US GAAP - Research accounting issues/ irregularities as they arise and provide recommendations for solutions & reviews accounting impact from system changes
  • Strong verbal and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team and produce quality output under tight deadlines
  • Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data
  • Quick learner with a positive attitude
  • Tests and validates system changes
  • Structure large data sets to find usable information
  • Critical math skills and a proven ability to difficult calculations
  • Attention to detail, prioritization skill and time management
  • Self-motivated and strong analytical skills
  • Develops understanding of cost, complexity, and capability tradeoffs in underlying architectures
