Sr. GOWK Data Manager
Description
A Data Manager is responsible for the creation and maintenance of target material database schemas using ArcGIS suite of tools. They make changes to metadata to accurately reflect the targets’ function, description, critical elements, location, and naming convention per customer requests in accordance with NGA Structured Observation Management (SOM).
Primary Responsibilities
The successful candidate will maintain accounts for existing customers and create user accounts for new customers. They will troubleshoot problems with the GOWK interface to support customer issues and review, correct, update, maintain and publishes GOWK services via ArcGIS suite of tools.
Influences development of solutions that impact strategic project/program goals and business results.
Recommends and develops new technical solutions, products, and/or standards in support of functions strategy and operations.
Leads other technical staff that has significant impact on project results/outputs.
Resolves highly complex problems using significant application of technical knowledge, conceptualizing, reasoning and interpretation.
Develops solutions that are highly innovative, and achieved through research and integration of best practices.
Communicate with Program and customer leadership regarding matters of significant importance to the organization/project.
Basic Qualifications
- Requires BS degree and 12 to 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 to 13 years of prior relevant experience.
- Demonstrated technical skills with data mining and working knowledge of Geospatial Information Systems (GIS).
- ArcCatalog and ArcMap and ArcPro
- Excellent communication skills that will be utilized to inform members of the Intelligence Community.
- Active TS/SCI
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle database SQL experience
- End user GOWK experience
- NGA Mission / IA experience
Pay Range:
Pay Range $118,300.00 - $182,000.00 - $245,700.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
