The Leidos Logistics & Mission Support Division in the Defense group is currently seeking a Supply Chain/Logistics Analyst to work with the Customer Support site location at Robins Air Force Base, Warner Robins GA. This position will be supporting the Specialized Management Branch’s Special Project Networks which provide system and network communication support to multiple worldwide locations.

THE CHALLENGE:

Provide direct on-site customer service support for the Automated Logistics Management Support System (ALMSS); system is used by the USAF to provide global depot level logistics sustainment support for Command and Control, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C2ISR) programs.

You will assist in providing daily technical/procedural assistance to over 85 on-site and 210 remote users at over 50 global locations; identifying and resolving ALMSS related logistics support issues associated with over 300 Supply Chain Management (SCM) functions and 5 major system interfaces; providing information analysis support for senior leaders; and providing on the spot assistance to new user personnel, as well as follow-on training required for complex functions and new enhancements. Keeps informed of Air Force supply logistics policy changes that could impact ALMSS or lead to business opportunities with existing or new customers. Works closely with government ALMSS program manager, engineer, and logistics branch leads to keep up to date on customer mission requirements/priorities, promote ALMSS, manage customer expectations, and ensure the early detection and resolution of ALMSS system issues. Assists with program support activities to include general ALMSS contract related issues, system portfolio management, contingency processing support, Predator/Reaper Inventory Control Point (ICP) transition, and Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) compliance. Provides clarity on logistics support issues to system operations and software development staff as needed. Work with ALMSS Development staff to test and provide feedback of new enhancements, current software fixes, and provide logistical input to future ALMSS software project development.

WHAT SETS YOU APART

Bachelor’s degree and two years related experience, or High School and eight years related experience.
Experience as a Customer Support Specialist or similar CS role
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Follow up with customers to ensure their technical issues are resolved
Share feature requests and effective workarounds with customers
Analyze and report product malfunctions (for example, by testing different scenarios or impersonating users)
Multi-tasking abilities


YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE:

Experience with ALMSS, Integrated Logistics Systems – Supply (ILS-S), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) wholesale system, Air Force Stock Control System (D035), Air Force Master Item Identification Control System (D043), and DLA Transaction Services SCM interface formats. Basic knowledge of Logistics, Installations and Mission Support - Enterprise View (LIMS-EV), Basic knowledge of Defense Logistics Management systems (DLMS). Should have a general knowledge of Air Force Supply regulation and policy as well as demonstrate knowledge of
Supply processes.

Provide Procedural assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to ALMSS software development
Secret clearance

Pay Range:

Pay Range $48,750.00 - $88,125.00
