Technical Applications Team Lead
Description
Leidos is seeking a hands on Technical Team Lead (Azure required) who will be Responsible for overseeing 10+ people across multiple development teams to modernize applications in the cloud for the CDC.
Working with delivery teams and CDC team to understand requirements and architecture design for the applications being developed.
Responsible for building relationships with client stakeholders and ensures Leidos is meeting client expectations.
Role is a fully telecommuting role, must currently reside in the United States for the last three consecutive years
Requires ability to obtain NACI clearance.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, lead and mentor a team of 10+ people in an agile environment.
Collaborate with development teams to modernize applications in the cloud for the CDC.
Work with solution teams and CDC team to understand requirements and architecture design for the applications being developed.
Build relationships with client stakeholders and ensures Leidos is meeting client expectations.
Explore Microsoft Power Platform technologies and rapidly develop products and solutions to modernize the CDC applications.
Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Required Skills
Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science or IT related discipline.
10+ Years of IT Experience, 6+ of which are in building, operating, and improving environments similar to CDC.
5+ years of experience in following:
• Experience with Azure Data factory, Data Bricks, Spark, Kafka, Event Hubs, Synapses etc.
• Experience with Power Apps, Databases, Data Lake, etc.
• Experience with .Net, Python, PySpark, Java, Azure Functions etc
Proficient in agile methodologies.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills
Experience working with CSV, JSON, XML, and complex file structures.
Experience in creating reports using Power BI.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $97,500.00 - $176,250.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
