Leidos is looking for a Field Support Specialist to join our team to fill a variety of needs supporting a federal government law enforcement customer on the ESA V program. The Field Support Specialist will work on site at a customer location in Sterling, VA. Due to the nature of the work, this position will be on site. The Field Support Specialist will perform a combination of property, warehouse inventory, and shipping tasks.

Warehouse inventory and supply management duties will include the inventory, shipping of equipment and supplies, and the shipping and receiving of property to be used by the government as evidence at the Sterling location.

Some responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing end-user support to government personnel in the field to include shipping and receiving of equipment, computers, digital media, and supplies.

  • Basic configuring of computers and laptops, to include basic installation of operating systems or other software.

  • Receiving and inventorying shipments of digital media, supplies and equipment and prepares for usage following established protocols. May include designating new equipment as government property leading to the adherence of acquisition processes and procedures. May include destroying or disposal of outdated or surplus equipment.

  • Receiving, managing, tracking, and shipping supply requests submitted from the field.

  • Participating in the inventory of equipment in the warehouse and items in the field.

  • Assisting in the preparation and organization of training course equipment and supplies, post-training shipping of student equipment, and other logistics needs that arise.

  • Supporting logistics of equipment and supplies field requirements.

  • Maintaining organization and orderliness to assigned areas of responsibility within the facility.

  • Routinely lifting and carrying equipment weighing approximately fifty pounds.

  • Receiving assignments from government personnel to perform support services, determine customer service needs, prioritize daily service, support efforts, and maintain a strong customer service work ethic.

  • Performing ad-hoc assignments and other duties as assigned

The individual selected for this position will be subject to a Government Public Trust clearance. Attention to operational security and confidentiality are required.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Must already have or be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Access

  • High School diploma plus approximately 2 years of experience

  • US Citizenship

  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50lbs.

  • Must be able to pay close attention to details.

  • Self-Directed; ability to act with limited supervision.

  • Must have the ability to adapt to changing work requirements, multiple tasks, priorities, and be able to exercise discretion.

  • Strong analytical and follow through skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

  • Ability to work well independently on defined tasks as well as part of a team.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $44,850.00 - $81,075.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
