Director of Continuous Improvement

What Will You Do?

The Corporate Director of Lean Six Sigma-Manufacturing is responsible for the development, enhancement, and compliance to a Lean Six Sigma program which is consistently applied across all manufacturing operations both domestically and internationally. This will entail the development and maintenance of training materials, training classes, utilization of problem solving methodologies, tracking progress, auditing compliance and driving sustainment. This position will also be responsible to the attainment of established cost reduction targets by location in order to facilitate the attainment of established organizational / divisional objectives. Along with being responsible for the Lean Six Sigma objectives– Manufacturing departments, included within these objectives will be to ensure all applicable personnel receive Lean Six Sigma training, ensure proper use of established tools and methodologies, assign appropriate resources to assist in achieving quality, cost or delivery objectives, mentor others in managing projects and maintaining accurate records of all activities.

What Do You Need?

• LSS Master Black Belt or Black Belt, Required.

• Bachelor’s Degree in either Quality, Business, Engineering, or related field, Preferred.

• 7 years of experience in Lean Six Sigma in an industrial environment, Required.

• Supervisory/Management experience across multiple locations, Required.

• Experience with Project Management, Required.

• Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints.

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously within established time constraints.

• Exposure to and experience implementing principles of the Toyota Production System.
