Our business helps support their way of life and contributes to the survival of a culture that has thrived in a challenging environment.**Job r** **es** **p** **onsibi** **li** **tie** **s** **:**Performgeneral maintenance andrepair of equipment andbuildings requiring practical skills and knowledge in such trades as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry,and electrical work.+ Replaceelectrical receptacles, wiring, switches,lightfixtures,andmotor.+ Use plaster or compound to patchminor holesandcracksin walls and ceilings.+ Repair or replacesinks, water coolers,water heatersand toilets.+ Paintwalls, doors,structures andequipment.+ Replaceorrepair concrete floors,steps and sidewalks.+ Replace damaged paneling, ceiling tiles and floortiles.+ Hang doors and installhinges anddoor locks.+ Replace broken windowpanes.+ Performminormaintenance on equipment and machinery.+ Operate walk behind snow blower and lawn mower.+ Determine materials neededfor repair work and prepare requisitions.+ Responsiblefor timelyreporting of accidents, injuries, and hazardous situations.+ Perform allother work-related duties as assigned.**Accountable for:**+ Timely completion andaccuracy of all work+ Working closely and harmoniously with other employees.+ Adherenceto contract requirements, safety andhealth regulations, and company policies**Work Co** **n** **ditio** **n** **s:**Work maybe performed both indoors and outdoors. Outdoor work issubject to extreme temperatures, noise, inclementweather conditions, and other conditions determined by the nature of the job. Tasks may be performed on uneven, inclined, hard, and soft-carpeted floors, cement structures andsurfaces atvariable heights.**Qualifications****Minimum Qualifications:**+ Possess a current DoDTop Secret SCI security clearance+ High school graduate or equivalent+ Technical or trade schoolDiploma or Certificate+ Has a valid Virginia state drivers license+ Knowledge of hand and power tools+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds+ Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment+ Ability to understand and have working knowledgeof hazardous, safety,and environmental warnings+ General knowledge of all maintenance and construction trades+ Must be able to climb ladders scaffolds and walkways; be able to complete assigned tasks in high or confinedspaces+ Three-years similar experienceThe duties and responsibilities listed in this job description generally cover the nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
