Job Summary

Amentum is currently recruiting for an energetic and self- motivated Executive Administrative Assistant to join our team at the Pentagon,

Arlington, VA to support our Department of the Army, G-3/5/7 Operations Readiness and Mobilization Support contract.

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

- Provide administrative support to the Strategic Plans, Concepts, and Doctrine Division to senior level Army Staff.

Maintain organizational data, provide the Government with attendance lists, weekly seating charts, briefing schedules,

consolidated briefing products calendar invites.

- Prepare read-ahead books, executive summaries (EXSUMs) and meeting minutes.

- Perform routine administrative functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference

calls, and scheduling meetings.

- Assist the Army Staff in writing of Execution Orders, Fragmentary Orders and other correspondence.

- Create and/or assist in the staffing of manual or quick-turn taskers.

- Maintain MS SharePoint sites.

- Cross-train additional duties with other office administrative staff .


Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree required.

- At least three (3) years’ of related experience, or equivalent.

- Military Staff experience at a headquarters-level (Combatant Command, service headquarters, Joint Staff, required.

- ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret.

- Six (6) years of progressively responsible experience as an executive assistant reporting to a senior executive. Previous industry –related experience preferred. High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in business information systems or office management preferred. • Demonstrates proficiency in all Microsoft applications. • Excellent communication and people skills. • Works independently with good decision-making skills. • Handles sensitive information and data appropriately. • Knowledge of travel expense, timekeeping and database experience.


Preferred Qualifications

-Detail-oriented with technical, verbal, and written communication skills.

-Ability to interact with Senior Members of the Army Staff, to include the Executive Office of the Headquarters.

-Ability to focus on Mission requirements while tracking multiple competing priorities.

-Require minimal supervision in the fast-paced, critical environment of the Army Headquarters.

-Must have the ability to work within Government-provided software packages with emphasis on MS products, for example, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
