HVAC / Building Automated Systems Technician

The HVAC-Building Automation System Technician operates, maintains, and repairs the Building Automation System (BAS). Also operates, maintains, and repairs boilers, chillers, heat exchangers, water heaters, air handling and air conditioning units. Performs preventive maintenance on all HVAC systems in accordance with established schedules, operating procedures, and equipment warranty. Analyzes malfunctions in heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems and equipment, and makes necessary adjustments or repairs under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed journey HVAC technician with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience with Building Automation Systems/Direct Digital Control Systems.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in operation, maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment including centrifugal chillers, boilers, pumps, air handler units, piping, heat exchangers, and associated equipment.
  • Must be fluent in speaking and reading English.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older, have completed a secondary school or obtained a GED, and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Clearance is required.
