Classified Support Technician

Amentum is currently seeking a Classified Support Technician to support an IT Managed Services program in Albuquerque, NM. The overall program includes a 500+ work force performing Enterprise IT support, Service Desk, and Telecommunications support across multiple facilities and locations, for classified and unclassified telecommunications and information technology (IT) systems.

You will be a part of a team that provides end-user support with processes for managing and delivering services that are ITIL conformant. The team resolves incidents, service requests, and problems associated with service failures or degradations that are related to hardware and software computing devices.

As a member of the team, you will:

  • Provide phone, email, web, and in-person support to users in the areas of e-mail, directories, computer operating systems, and desktop applications for all types of computer systems.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting hardware/software, all types of computer systems (PC and Mac), and printer problems.

  • Resolve complex issues escalated by Tier I and Tier II Technicians and reported by the customer.

  • Effectively use all tools to appropriately diagnose and repair customer issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have a High School Diploma / GED and 2 years of experience.

  • Must have an active TOP SECRET (TS) or DOE Q clearance and maintain it for the life of the contract.

  • Two years of computer related experience ( PC Assembly, Imaging, PC/OS Testing, Installation).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CompTIA A+ Certification.

  • IT Certifications (HDI, Microsoft, Dell, CompTIA, ITIL, etc.).

  • Experience with Configurations, Migrations, and/or adding Memory.
