ICT Solutions Architect

Job Summary

Amentum is seeking an ICT Solutions Architect for a position in Alice Springs, Australia to review and advise on the latest technologies and software tools to improve business processes. The ICT Solutions Architect will be knowledgeable of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system architecture and physical server environments. This position will assess legacy systems to determine if updates are needed, determine the replacement of software or hardware, and evaluate services or products that will support business operations across each department.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop & Design technical architecture solutions for emerging technologies
• Implement refined product designs
• Manage integration into current technologies
• Supervise small teams on project deployments and other technical staff and provide technical assistance
• Identify opportunities & provide technical solutions for functional problems
• Prepare and present test plans, technical overviews and analysis
• Collaborate with all teams to ensure a robust and repeatable solution
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Document architecture and design of the implemented solution
• Provide, present & support technical advice for external project integrators
• Utilise industry vendors
• Modify and design new systems to meet operational requirements
• Create/update technical documentation and user manuals

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent or tertiary qualifications and/or 8 + years related work experience
• Relevant certifications (Security +; MCSE Certificate; SCCM; VMWare)
• Architectural skillset across Business applications, Security & SCADA domains with an extensive ability to integrate effectively
• Must be a US citizen and possess or be able to obtain a TS SCI clearance and poly or an Australian citizen and possess or be able to obtain a TSPV

• ITIL4 Certification
• Linux + or equivalent
• Understanding of IOT/SCADA solutions
