Overview:
Coordinate, monitor, and evaluate the performance of vendors while operating a repair and preventive maintenance facility for the contractor and OPM-MNG vehicles. Make recommendations to CSD-ER and AMB Manager for improved proficiency for AMB Eastern Region Operations.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Establish and implement the workflow requirements for the subcontractor maintenance personnel of the Automotive Maintenance shop. Identify the required maintenance to be performed by mechanics. Identify the vendors proposal and required work to be appropriate and accurate. Must be able to ensure that vendors can perform the jobs at a reasonable price and acceptable quality. Coordinate Transportation requests for US personnel. Issue and receive fuel coupons for Eastern Region Division. Monitor and report waste oil reservoirs for capacity; report to CSD-ER Manager when near full for actions taken. Acts under the supervision of the Manager, CSD-ER. Performs to a large extent under their own responsibility with some choice of methods. Supervisory Responsibilities: 6 sub-contracted personnel.

Minimum Qualifications:

Educational Level:
Two (2) years of technical/vocational or college education in automotive maintenance after high school and/or equivalent work experience. Military background equivalent 63YH8/63B US Army or CM/EO for US Navy E-5 and above.

Experience:
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in automotive repair with at least two (2) years in shop operations.

Specific knowledge, skills, ability, and requirements:
Extensive knowledge of automotive maintenance, quality control procedures, and techniques. Knowledge of Automotive Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written.
