Job Summary

Purpose and Scope:

Participate in the requirements, definition, design, development, testing, and documentation of computer software. Analyze program output, code, and documentation for correctness and consistency and provide recommendations for improvements.

This role can be performed Remotely.

Responsibilities:


1) Prepare software requirements, design, code, or documentation.
2) Perform detail analysis of design, implementation, and derived code to ensure sufficient accuracy, validity, safety, and fidelity exists.
3) Develop plans for detailed analysis of computer program code, documentation, and output to insure validity, consistency, and conformance to applicable standards.
4) Design and execute computer program test cases, analyze output for validity, and prepare written reports documenting results.
5) Direct on-site customer interface for software installation, testing, systems integration, programming, debugging and other computer system tasks as needed.
6) Comply with hardware and software systems standards and procedures.
7) Provide informal training in implementing software programs based on user requirements.
8) Maintain liaison with outside hardware and software vendors for system upgrades and maintenance.
9) Provide technical and procedural direction for the following Maximo modules: Assets, Inventory, Job Plans, PMs, Purchasing, Work Orders.
10) Develop and maintain applications using Database Configuration and Application Designer.
11) Develop and maintain complex Maximo workflows.
12) Develop and manage reports, including Birt, ad hoc, and queries.
13) Develop and maintain Maximo integrations with external applications/systems using interface tables, webservices, and flat files.
14) Develop and maintain complex automation scripts using Jython, Python or JavaScript.
15) Key member of a Maximo change request review team.
16) Work with users and vendor to deploy EZMax Mobile solutions.
17) Create and maintain Oracle stored procedures.

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field and at least 5 years of job-related experience or equivalent. Excellent communications and analytical skills; demonstrated working knowledge and extensive experience of several programming languages (i.e., Python/Jython, JavaScript, PL SQL, T-SQL, etc.), computer systems, and integrated software application programs. Position may require the ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions to problems in operational software. Position may require travel. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance. Must be able to successfully pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). US Citizenship is required for unescorted access to assigned work area(s).


Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the following areas desired:


• Two to three years of hands-on technical experience as a Maximo developer building solutions using Maximo configurations and customizations.
• Technical and functional knowledge of Maximo Work Management, Asset, Job Plan, PM, Purchasing, and Inventory modules.
• Development and maintenance experience with Maximo automation scripting, workflows, integrations and BIRT Reports.
• Extensive knowledge of Maximo table structure and relationships.
• Strong experience with database software, preferably Oracle, to include stored procedures.
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience with Interpro’s EZMax Mobile (preferred)
