Job Summary

Position Summary:


Provide enterprise-wide internal assessment of DoD, DoN, and other such agencies readiness, compliance, and auditing programs.

Major Job Activities:


• Researching industry compliance regulations and policies.
• Evaluating internal operational and procedural compliance.
• Analyzing and updating existing compliance policies and related documentation.
• Communicating compliance policies and guidelines to Management and designated departments.
• Developing and executing new compliance policies and procedures as required.
• Applying for compliance certification and regulatory approval.
• Developing and maintaining a compliance recordkeeping system.
• Training employees on industry compliance requirements.
• Maintaining communication with compliance regulators and following up on applications.
• Keeping up with compliance requirements and amendments to regulations.
• Support Cyber Security CDRL functions
• Shown proficiency with ACAS, HBSS, & VRAM

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, constant sitting and use of a computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while writing, reviewing, and editing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness.


Minimum Requirements

Education:


• High School Diploma or equivalent + 5 years’ experience or bachelor’s
degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, or related field + 2 years’ experience
• 5 years C&A functional area experience
• Equivalent years of experience may be substituted in lieu of education

Certifications: DoD 8570/8140: IAM I
• In-depth knowledge of industry compliance requirements and standards.

Security Clearance:


Secret security clearance is required. Applicants selected must be a US Citizen in order to apply for a Secret Security Clearance Applicants selected either must currently possess a Secret clearance or will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain clearance prior to commencement of employment and maintain a security clearance for access to classified information or Closed/Restricted Areas throughout duration of employment.
