Job Summary

Amentum is actively seeking a Systems Analyst for the Airborne Off-Board Electronic Warfare (AOEW) and AN/SLQ-32(V)6 depot stand-up to provide technical and functional knowledge.

The qualified candidate will participate in assessments of AOEW and SLQ-32(V)6 depot stand-up analysis in the areas of level of repair determination, required test fault isolation procedures, refurbishment processes, test procedures, and spare parts analysis. They will provide technical leadership and exercise full responsibility for all technical, administrative and coordination functions related to the assigned system and program elements to ensure that they meet customer and user expectations in system performance, operability, reliability, quality, and schedule requirements.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Develops analytical requirements and queries for making informed recommendations to improve in all functional categories of the scope of work.
  2. Collects and analyzes data, creates repeatable and sustainable quality metrics which properly represent the status of scope of work performance.
  3. Assist with defining the test equipment, manpower, procedures, facilities, and technical data required to establish the first increment of the Advanced Off-Board Electronic Warfare (AOEW) Organic Depot and the SLQ-32(V)6 Organic Depot.
  4. Assist in the preparation and production of technical reports, progress reports, data requirements and system constraints for technical presentations, meetings and customer briefings.
  5. Provide support in the development of technical reports and recommendations and provide input on the technical content and level of effort of the proposed scope of work.
  6. Assist with producing program reports, technical papers, drawings, specifications, procedures, etc.; provide comments; organize, consolidate, and adjudicate comments from various organizations, and prepare reports
  7. Participate in reviews, analysis, and validation of engineering and logistics products; assist with the preparation of executive-level reports and briefs
  8. Create, develop, and maintain appropriate databases for tracking task activities.
  9. Oversees the development and submission of timely and accurate submissions of daily, weekly, and monthly reports to management.
  10. May provide administrative support to project management staff in customer meetings, presentations and briefings.
  11. Provide leadership and coordination for troubleshooting, failure analysis, corrective action(s), and report preparation for accidents or failures. Provide, monitor, and control the performance of corrective actions.
  12. Perform and/or review detailed technical analyses and modification, cost and option analysis, thermal or electrical load analyses, structural analyses, operational assessment and compliance analysis, functional and compatibility analysis, and others.
  13. Assign and prepare technical documentation that identifies the need for, cost evaluation of, specifications for, activation of, functional and safety analyses of, maintenance of and operator training for the specific set of assigned equipment or requirements for new equipment assigned to the group.
  14. Provide scheduling, status, and coordination functions within the company, the Government and other contractors for projects assigned to the group.

Responsible for participating in safety and environmental protection programs, and reduction of costs and the energy for operations and maintenance.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent
  • Ten (10) years related experience or equivalent in threat system analysis and/or operation of U.S. Navy Electronic Warfare systems.
  • Direct experience/knowledge of the system variants of the AN/SLQ-32 (V)2-6.
  • Strong commitment to quality, be detailed-oriented, but also able to understand complex ideas and communicate the bigger picture
  • Ability to work in a high-functioning team setting and successfully navigate a fast-paced, challenging environment
  • Must be able to demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills along with strong decision-making ability
  • Knowledge of and experience with Agile methodology
  • Strong written and oral communications skills to support program and senior briefings and presentations.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Operational Naval experience.
  • Active Secret clearance.
