Range Engineering Technical Instruction Analyst

The Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) Mission support program provides operations, facilities, and maintenance support for the Navy with locations in Florida and the Bahamas. Come join the team that’s supporting America’s Navy!

Amentum is seeking a Range Engineering Technical Instruction Analyst to evaluate assigned test support requirements and determine best method(s) for accomplishing all aspects of each program/test within the existing parameters of AUTEC capabilities to match/satisfy customer needs/requirements.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Define new capabilities or additional resources if such are required.
  • Accountable for cost control management and technical instruction tasking guidance related to test support and projects as assigned. This responsibility comprises monitoring costs and expenditures of all departments within Range Engineering.
  • Assist department TI managers with meeting funding management reports and timelines.
  • Work closely with Cost Control Analysts to ensure department TI funding reports are accurate and timely.
  • Provides administrative support to Range Support Services Division and sub-departments.
  • Serves as Division personnel support/ liaison; provides initial work site familiarization and assists with establishment of necessary accounts.
  • Prepares submits and tracks Maximo requisitions as required.
  • Coordinates troubleshooting and resolution of facility, IT, and access issues and inquiries
  • Compiles, enters, and edits data as required to prepare all weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual M&O reports.
  • Assists with editing of technical work instructions, procedures, and departmental forms.
  • Prepares, disseminates, and submits new hire, employee transfer and job change correspondence.
  • Coordinates conferences and meetings; may attend meetings and record proceedings.
  • Arranges commercial business travel, special reservations and prepares corresponding expense reports.
  • Maintains all Division personnel records.
  • Designated key custodian.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum two years of professional experience.
  • Valid passport and driver’s license required.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S government security clearance; must be a US citizen.
  • Must be able to reside in remote location with limited medical facilities.
