Financial/Budget Analyst 2
Amentum is seeking a Financial/Budget Analyst 2 to join our team and support our client in Washington, DC area. Perform business/economic analytical studies and cost benefit analyses.
Essential Responsibilities:
1) Conduct research and prepare financial analyses and forecasts.
2) Generate management tools to effectively control programs.
3) Generate reports documenting findings.
4) Conduct research into procurement practices and assess/implement improvements to, or compliance with acquisition procedures.
5) Prepare computerized programs utilizing commercial software to manage tasks.
6) Participate in cost proposal development.
7) Maintain data base to produce monthly financial reports. Track, process and distribute deliverables and monitor comment status.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Bachelors degree in Business and at least 3 years of job-related experience or equivalent. Good written communication skills; working knowledge of word processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. Position may require travel. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must posses planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.
