We have an immediate opening for an Integrated Logistics Analyst, supporting the Forward Deployed Regional Maintenance Center (FDRMC) in Rota, Spain. This is a full-time position and will allow you to support Total Ship Readiness Assessments (TSRAs) and INSURV events in the Assessments Group, as part of a Visit Support Team (VST).

Position Duties:

The FTE VST member will be responsible for providing the below-listed technical and travel services for each surface ship TSRA, Ballistic Missile Defense – Readiness Assessments (BMDRA), and “Assessments Outside of TSRA” led by the Assessment Director (AD):

  • Utilize the tasking agenda from the AD, ensure all referenced procedures are current and valid (if errors are detected fill out a Class Maintenance Plan (CMP) procedure feedback form and provide to the Common Assessment Procedure (CAP) members).

  • Request a Discrepancy Documentation Tool (DDT) file for the designated ship/event and review for validity, as well as provide updated databases via a Navy approved File Exchange Delivery Service as required.

  • Develop a book for each TSRA Matrix subsystem identified by the AD to include:

    • TSRA summary report page.

    • Electrical safety Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) page.

    • Root Cause codes and EOC codes page.

    • Integrated Class Maintenance Plan (ICMP) Automated Work Request (AWR) “blue sheet” guidance.

    • CMP procedure feedback form.

    • Ship Configuration Logistics Support Information System (SCLSIS) listing.

    • Applicable assessment procedures (e.g., MRCs, TRDs, CNRMC Procedures).

  • During Visit Execution, submit required clearances for ship access, required forms for AWN/OMMS-NG access, and required forms for R-Supply access.

  • Maintain a daily check-in/check-out log during assessments events.

  • Validate the repair 2-Kilos (MAFs) received from SMEs (verify Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM) compliance) and enter the repair 2-Kilo information into DDT.

  • Generate and provide daily reports to the AD. These reports shall include:

    • Parts report

    • Parts to order report

    • Hardware report (list of repair 2-Kilos)

    • Action summary report (bean count of visit status)

    • CMP status report

    • CASREPs generated report

    • Check the parts status daily and, if on-board, expedite ship delivery to the work center. The FTE VST member will be available for needed report changes on a daily basis after the AD briefs S/F.

    • Up-line daily the MM0001 file to Fleet 3MC and AWN/OMMS-NG.

    • Monitor the Validation, Screening, and Brokering (VSB) program to ensure all TSRA repair 2-Kilo/MAF JSNs uploaded via CSMP bulkload are reflected. In the event of the missing TSRA documented JSN, the RMC must coordinate with TYCOM Force 3MC to determine course of action to ensure missing JSN(s) are re-pushed to VSB for screening by the Port Engineer.

    • Order all parts as required on a daily basis (if needed submit Configuration Change (CKs) to process parts).

    • Provide consolidated (all visit days’ information included) final reports to the AD to support End of Visit requirements.

  • No later than ten working days after the last day of the visit, provide DDT TMT upload file to the DDT Team for upload to the SMDII TSRA Warehouse.

  • Coordinate logistical and administrative requirements with the INSURV manager/team to support inspections on ships in the Places of Performance as directed by the Availability Support Division Head.

  • Be appointed to a position as a Defense Travel System (DTS) Non-Approving Routing Official. The individual must take all required training, maintain an understanding of the JTR Travel Reimbursement Regulations, and the Navy Business Rules. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Assist individuals traveling to conduct assessments with authorizations, mission critical itinerary changes, and vouchers, and provide training on DTS as necessary.

    • Address problems traveling assessors experience with DTS, ensuring system issues are addressed by the appropriate Program Management Office, and provide TSRA travelers with mitigations or work-arounds as necessary.

    • Interface with the local Commercial Travel Office as required to ensure time sensitive travel is ticketed in a timely fashion in support of mission requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of four (4) years’ experience utilizing 3M system software or Assessment Program software as utilized by Navy assessment programs

  • Minimum of four (4) years’ experience with the Navy Supply system and Navy 3M as it relates to parts acquisition, ordering, and research (R-supply/OneTouch/LogiQuest)

  • Minimum of four (4) years’ specialized experience with shipboard configuration (CDMD-OA) as it applies to the review and validation of shipboard configuration, and the development, input of feedback, and configuration change documents for shipboard configuration

  • Must have an active secret US government clearance. Note: US citizenship is required to maintain a secret clearance
