Assessment Analyst
If you are looking to use your Navy logistics and administrative skills to support the world’s finest Navy, Amentum may have the full-time position you are looking for. We have an immediate opening to provide support to our Master Assessment Index (MAI) program customer. This position is located at our Norfolk, VA office.
Essential Responsibilities:
Conduct weekly review of ship TSRA schedules from the Fleet Scheduling Center to determine when preliminary TSRA Visit Agendas need to be provided and when amended final Agendas will be required
Generate preliminary and amended final TSRA Visit Agendas as required, providing quality assurance check for data accuracy prior to forwarding for use in TSRA planning process
Generate revised TSRA Visit Agendas 120 days prior to the scheduled TSRA event or upon request by RMC Assessment Director (AD) for additional planning or review
Forward approved final TSRA Visit Agenda assessment tasks with CMP assignments to SURFMEPP for generation of MM0001 file and upload into VSB
Generate MM0001 file and upload it into VSB from the approved final TSRA Visit Agenda for those assessment tasks without CMP assignment (or as needed) from the approved TSRA Visit Agenda
Consolidate the final TSRA Visit Agenda to include SURFMEPP, and A-coded JSNs to the AD in a timely manner
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma and 9 years of job-related experience, or Bachelor's degree in Business/Logistics or related field and 1 year of job-related experience, or Associates degree with 2 years of additional experience, or equivalent
Good communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required
Experience utilizing computers including the Microsoft Office Suite for compiling information for reports and history files
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally, especially to senior Naval and civilian leadership
Two (2) years utilizing 3M system software or assessment program software as utilized by Navy assessment programs
Two (2) years of experience in HM&E or C5I equipment
Two (2) years of experience with the Navy Supply System and Navy 3M as it relates to parts acquisition, ordering, and research (R-Supply)
- Two (2) years of experience with Configuration Data Managers Database – Open Architecture (CDMD-OA) as it applies to the review and validation of shipboard equipment, feedback reporting, and change documents
Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret US government clearance. Note: US citizenship is required to obtain a secret clearance.
Preferred experience:
An understanding of the Total Ship Readiness Assessment (TSRA) Program, Maintenance and Ship Work Planning (M&SWP) and the Intermediate Class Maintenance Plan (ICMP), Hierarchical Structure Code (HSC), Extended Ship Work Boundary Structure (ESWBS) Codes.
Five (5) years of experience as a Departmental or Command 3MC utilizing the Navy 3M system and familiar with Open Architecture Repository System (OARS), Job Sequence Numbers (JSN), and Allowance Parts List (APL).
Five (5) years of experience in either HM&E or Combat Systems equipment in maintenance, repair, and assessment.
Understand the following command structures: Commander Naval Surface Forces Pacific/Atlantic (CNSP/CNSL), Commander Naval Regional Maintenance Center (CNRMC), Surface Maintenance Engineering Planning Program (SURFMEPP).
Understanding of Readiness Risk
An understanding of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and how it applies to maintenance
