Do it here.What youll be doing...This opportunity is for Military personnel who are current participants of Hiring Our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program Cohort 2-2021.As the Transformation Portfolio Execution Analyst you will be responsible for supporting the introduction of new supply chain concepts, processes and models into Verizons Supply Chain. You will work closely with the Network Supply Chain and Device Supply Chains inventory, planning, and logistics teams to support new transformational opportunities to accelerate our competitive advantages in supply chain delivery.+ Provide support in the development of the new supply chain, program managing the introduction of new processes, technologies, and operational models to integrate inventory and services into Verizons Network and Device Supply Chains.+ Research best-in-class perspectives in inventory planning, logistics (forward/reverse), and supplier management to provide input into new operational model opportunities to Verizons operations and business unit teams responsible for Supply Chain deployment.+ With supervision, provide support to develop business cases for new supply chain models to enable strategy alignment and implementation.+ Gather knowledge about Verizons supply chain operational models, understand leading models from various industries into the telecommunications space.+ Research industry expertise, technical expertise, and strategy frameworks to provide input into Verizons transformation roadmap.+ Support creation of a funnel of new supply chain projects that will help to ensure achievement of Verizons Global Supply Chain goals.+ Analyze and, where appropriate, recommend optimum sequencing and any required reprioritizations to better integrate the digital roadmap.+ Assist in developing new KPIs, metrics, and business intelligence (BI) strategy to measure the ROI of digital supply chain capabilities.+ Track changes and improvements in Verizons capability maturity levels to measure progress.+ Provide support to identify gaps in Verizons end to end supply chain capabilities, in turn supporting key initiative development to resolve capability gaps.+ Provide support to identify and prioritize cross-industry supply chain trends, identifying the most important savings and strategy levers that Verizon supply chain should be prioritizing.You have the ability to drive results at all levels, regardless of reporting structures. You are someone that has excellent verbal and written communication skills and are comfortable in working up and across the organization.
