Do it here.What youll be doing...This opportunity is for Military personnel who are current participants of Hiring Our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program Cohort 2-2021.You are a process person and you like when things run smoothly, but when they dont, youll calmly find a good solution and then re-engineer the process to improve it for next time. Youre always on the lookout for ways to maximize productivity, while ensuring customers expectations are exceeded. No balls drop on your watch as you juggle lots of different priorities because you keep track of all the details. You work well with lots of different kinds of people and know how to flex your style to suit the situation. You operate as a strategic partner with logistics, supply chain management, sales, and 3PLs in establishing and adhering to operating metrics. You know how to successfully lead teams and gain buy in from business partners. You prefer a fast-paced environment with new challenges each day.+ Partner with a Third Party Logistics Provider (3PL) responsible for operational activities in a distribution center of over 500K SF.+ Provide guidance to ensure efficient distribution operations and adherence to policies, procedures, and process.+ Partner with a 3PL responsible for warehouse operations from inbound, inventory, pick/pack and outbound.+ Oversee efficient utilization of space and material.+ Partner with the 3PL to determine processes for reverse supply chain identifying how to maximize value of returned equipment.+ Provide direction on cycle counts and audit compliance.+ Partner with a 3PL to manage distribution center operations.+ Optimize pick/pack operations for less than truckload shipments with outbound transportation partner.+ Ensure the protection and accuracy of inventory by adhering to all inventory control processes and procedures.+ Ensure accuracy of outbound shipments.+ Ensure accuracy of inventory within the Distribution Center.+ Promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance of all Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures.+ Assist supply chain projects to continually improve the business performance, customer experience, and/or reduce expense.+ Act as a subject matter expert regarding distribution center operations.What were looking for...Must be a current participant of Hiring our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program Cohort 2-2021.Youll need to have:+ Bachelors degree or four or more years of work experience.+ Three or more years of relevant work experience.+ Experience in large scale operations and distribution.+ Project and Supplier Management experience.+ Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends as necessary.Even better if you have:+ Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related discipline.+ Strong history of driving culture and employee engagement.+ Experience working with a 3rd Party Logistics Provider.+ Experience with a Warehouse Management System.+ Experience in materials management, i.e., transportation, purchasing, inventory management.+ Exposure to Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.+ PMP certification.+ Experience in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.+ Strong organization and attention to detail.Equal Employment OpportunityWe're proud to be an equal opportunity employer - and celebrate our employees' differences, including race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, and Veteran status.
