Work you'll do

  • Conduct internal sampling and testing of assessable units (Fund Receipt and Disbursement, Military Pay, Civilian Pay, Travel Pay, Reimbursement Budget Authority and Execution, Contract Pay and Vendor Pay) for a government client.
  • Develop recommended corrective action plans based on findings.
  • Prepare government client for upcoming audit.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • An active secret clearance is required to be considered for this role.
  • At least two (2) years of internal audit and/or accounting controls experience.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • MUST BE LOCAL TO LOS ANGELES, CA.


Preferred:

  • Experience with GAAP, GAGAS, FASAB, and SFFAS is desired.
  • Understanding of DoD financial management policies, procedures, and systems such as GAFS-BQ, FM Suite, WAWF, CRIS, EDA, CCaR, and Advana is desired.
  • Previous consulting experience is desired.
