Overview:
Functions as the Aviation Maintenance Production Control (PC) clerk under the direction of the PC Supervisor and PC Lead. Participates in the coordination and scheduling of aircraft to meet the contractual operational readiness rates, and Customer mission requirements. Generates work orders, compiles and records production data on aircraft status, flight hours, and work orders. Ensures that all related operations are conducted in a safe manner.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Generate, track and close Work Orders based on maintenance requirements. Assist in reports, inquires, investigates, and research analysis related to aviation maintenance and supporting maintenance activities. Attends daily production control meeting for coordination and synchronization of all aviation maintenance support functions. Assist in maintenance training activities and requirements with the Maintenance Division Training Lead. Ensures all maintenance operations and related maintenance support activities are conducted in a safe manner. Coordinates with the PC Lead about matters relating to aircraft maintenance, airframes, warranties and downed aircraft recovery team (DART) activities. Updates all aircraft and daily status reports IAW AR 700-138. Assist with Contract Deliverables and verify that data is accurate and complete. Assume responsibilities as the PC Lead as necessary. Monitor and process part requisitions and supply request within the organization11. Other tasks as directed by the PC Supervisor. Performs within the broad guidelines of duties and responsibilities with significant choice of methods. Retains the authority to select and implement goals and objectives within the execution of duties and responsibilities. Supervisory Responsibilities: As assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education Level Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience Requirements: 1. 5 years cumulative experience in aviation maintenance. (2) years of experience as an aircraft mechanic or maintenance technician.
Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications, and Ability Requirements: Graduate of a US Military aviation maintainers course or civilian equivalent training and experience. Proficient in the use of computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and other aircraft related documentation. Proficient in MS Office software. Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner. Possess a valid drivers license. Successfully pass an overseas deployment physical upon hire. Desired/Preferred Education, Skills, and Experience: Associates Degree. (2) years Supervisory experience in aviation maintenance. (2) years experience in a Production Control role.
