Job Summary

This is a European Union or US National Local Hire Position in Germany. As such the employee will be subject to paying German taxes and be part of the German work force with all the benefits of Host Nation employment and social system. This position is not approved for relocation allowances.

Purpose: Performs diversified duties within assigned segment of HR, working in accordance with established procedures and general supervision. Duties involve knowledge of standard computer software applications, manage calendars, organize meetings, welcome visitors, and assist employees, answer phone calls, take messages.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to fulfill each essential duty satisfactorily.

  1. Aids the staff and project management with research, and data analysis
  2. Creates reports based on program needs, required deliverables and data obtained.
  3. Partners with the HR Manager and Managers on executing changes and/or updates to the project tasks.
  4. Performs complex and confidential administrative related functions to ensure department operations flow smoothly.
  5. Creates, manages, monitors, and tracks programmatic and project tasks
  6. Develops, coordinates, organizes and maintains the program and site management calendar
  7. Conducts program reporting, project management and data analysis
  8. Ensures success in mapping of current HRIS business processes, improving the HRIS data and transaction processes. Continually monitor data integrity by running queries and analyzing data.
  9. Assess, plan, and implement special projects under the direction of the HR Manager with minimal oversight, will compile reports and summaries of work
  10. Updates, checks and complete records, forms, and documents
  11. Conducts data analysis and synthesize and/or create reports and spreadsheets in excel based on program needs or program deliverables, and to track programs, benchmarks, and makes recommendations for changes
  12. Point of contact for staff collaboration for cross departmental and programmatic staff and tasks
  13. Provides administrative support related to the overall management of the program
  14. Maintains a daily timesheet and daily manning report and ensuring times are accurate.
  15. Ensures strict compliance to safety practices and support the Amentum Safety Policies and Procedures.
  16. Instills a safety-first mentality within respective work areas and a culture that achieves low accident rates and minimal lost-time injuries.
  17. Adheres to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions.
  18. Performs other duties are assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business management, preferred.

Experience: 1-2 years’ similar experience required.

Specialized knowledge and skills:

  • Must have excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have excellent knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation and basic math.
  • Must have excellent organizational and planning skills, so that workflow is managed efficiently and accurately.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of employees, management and external high-ranking officials.
  • Must be able to handle confidential company and employee information with complete discretion.
  • Must be able to demonstrate ability to take initiative, multi-task, and work well under pressure.
  • Applied physical security experience and/or knowledge of Army Security regulations.
  • Must be able to qualify for and operate Government provided light vehicles to escort personnel or sensitive items.
  • Must have excellent knowledge of administrative procedures and systems such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Must be able to meet and maintain all base access security requirements.

Additional requirements: Must be able to obtain or be in the possession of a valid European Driver’s License, Class B Driver’s License

Work Environment, Physical Demands & Mental Demands:

  • Physical demands: This position is a typical shop environment with potential kneeling, standing, and walking hazards, occasional lifting to 50 pounds.
  • Work environment: Constant mental alertness required, excellent planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines
  • Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
  • Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
