Job Summary
Amentum is seeking a full-time Supply Discrepancy Report (SDR) Coordinator for an upcoming multi-$billion contract to provide U.S. Foregin Military Sales (FMS) customers with parts, part repairs and task orders to support their air, ground and surface fleets.
- The SDRCoordinator will coordinate and conduct the processing, investigation and resolution of Supply Discrepancy Reports (SDRs), warranty claims, on provided parts or repairs.
- Claims may result from overage, duplicate shipment, wrong item, misdirected materiel, non-receipt, shortage, quality/materiel deficiency, damaged or improperly packed shipment, insufficient shelf life, warranty, and billing errors.
- Estimate evauation costs, coordinate exhibit transfers, identify and request additonal information, lead/coordinate investigations.
- Acquire information, coordinate informaiton exchanges with vendors and OEMs, document results and backup data.
- Input findings, recommendations, status and timely updates into provided information system.
- Coordinate with the Program Manager to deliver acceptable items or services to ensure any defective work is replaced, corrected, or repaired as approved.
- Esnure accurate accounting and issuance of refunds.
- Analyze valid SDRs to determine cause and establish corrective and/or preventive measures to motivate improvement of product and service quality and to reduce future SDR occurrences.
- Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.
Must be a US citizen, able to obtain and maintain a Tier 1 Background Investigation.
This position is located in the Dayton, OH area.
Amentum may consider filling this position virtually.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college university; or 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
- Able to read analyze, and interpret technical product and repair specifications and governmental regulations.
- Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and suppliers.
- Able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, dimensions; able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Maintain computer skills and database knowledge.
- Strong analytical skills, with ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Results-oriented, able to track and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication, effective coordination and interpersonal skills.
- US citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 1 Background Investigation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a military supply technician or trade school
- Experience coordinating resolution of SDRs/warranty claims up to $2 million.
- Experience with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and EAR (Export Administration Regulations)
- Experience with US Air Force platform life cycle logistics
- Experience with DoD procurement laws, rules and regulations
- Experience supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs
- Familiarity with logistics management software system(s)
- Experience with AS9100 quality management system requirements
- Existing Tier I Background Investigation or higher US DoD security clearance
