Job Summary

Purpose:

This position will aid staff and project management with research and data analysis. In addition, this individual creates reports based on program needs, required deliverables and data obtained. The Project Specialist will work with the Managers on executing changes and/or updates to the project tasks. This individual will perform complex and confidential administrative related functions to ensure department operations flow smoothly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Create, manage, monitor, and track programmatic and project tasks.
  2. Develop, coordinate, organize, and maintain the program and site management calendar.
  3. Conduct program reporting, project management and data analysis.
  4. Assess, plan, and implement special projects under the direction of the PM/DPM/GM.
  5. With minimal oversight, will compile reports and summaries of work.
  6. Update, check, and complete records, forms, and documents.
  7. Conduct data analysis and synthesize and/or create reports and spreadsheets in excel based on program needs or program deliverables, and to track program benchmarks and make recommendations for change.
  8. Point of contact for staff collaboration for cross departmental and programmatic staff and tasks.
  9. Provide administrative support related to the overall management of the program.
  10. Must be able to work effectively with all levels of employees.
  11. Must be able to handle confidential company and employee information with complete discretion.
  12. Maintain a daily timesheet and daily manning report and ensuring times are accurate.
  13. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested to meet company goals and objectives.

Minimum Requirements

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience is preferred. Previous work experience in like or related field will be considered.

Specialized knowledge and skills:

  1. Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills (including but not limited to correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, vocabulary, etc.).
  2. Be computer literate and skilled in using the Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, Power-Point, etc.).
  3. Applied physical security experience and/or knowledge of Army Security regulations.
  4. Must be able to qualify for and operate Government provided light vehicles to escort personnel or sensitive items.

Additional Requirements:

1) LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS:

· Required upon hire: possession of a valid Driver’s License, Class B Driver’s License

· NACI/Tier 1

2) PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

· Stooping, sitting, kneeling, standing, walking, lifting 25 pounds continuously, 50 poundsintermittently, 51+ pounds with the assistance of another person, touching dexterity (hand and finger), carrying, clear seeing-general, close vision, color perception, clear speech, driving vehicle, moving objects.

3) WORK ENVIRONMENT

· Works alone, with and around others, verbal/face-to-face contact, inside/outside, extended days, confined areas, extreme heat/cold, temperature changes, wet and/or humid, noise, mechanical and electrical equipment, high places, fumes/odors and dirt/dust.


Preferred Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in business management preferred.
