Amentum is seeking a Documentation Specialist to join our team on Andros Island, Bahamas to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) mission. The Documentation Specialist will prepare all documentation for incoming and out-going HHG/POV shipments for contractor personnel. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepares air cargo declarations, including all related documents
  • Use of Trade Tech software for aircraft manifesting and Automated Manifest System (AMS) linking to US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) systems
  • Use of Click2Clear software for aircraft manifesting linking to Bahamas Customs systems
  • Knowledgeable with custom’s clearance documentation and manifesting procedures for all cargo imported and exported to AUTEC
  • Use MAXIMO to process delivery receipts, and search delivery status
  • Operate Government cargo vehicles, on and off base
  • With proper clearance, courier classified materials
  • Courier U.S. Mail to airport
  • Assist in warehouse operations as needed
  • Assist with Aircraft support operations as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • 1 year of office experience required.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • A valid Driver’s License and passport are required.
  • Must meet eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain the required government Secret security clearance.
  • Must be able to reside in a remote location with limited medical facilities​.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Forklift Operator certification preferred or must be obtained with three (3) months of hire.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
