Inspector- Supply (GmbH)

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to fulfill each essential duty
satisfactorily:

1. Conducts item inspections and research in Global Combat Support System (GCSS), Logistics
Modernization Program (LMP), and Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW) to include frustrated
items.
2. Ensure that 100 percent accountability is maintained of all assigned APS-2 equipment, ensuring
equipment is on-hand and reflected accurately in the relevant LIS.
3. Ensure the accurate reporting of all assigned APS-2 equipment in the relevant LIS.
4. Serves as the last step in bringing APS-2 equipment to record and identifies frustrated items
entering the APS-2 stock.
5. Ensures all data entered during inventories is accurate in the corresponding LIS.
6. Corrects errors in paperwork and/or relevant LIS data and reports all errors promptly to Logistics
Manager.
7. Performs quality checks on item serial numbers.
8. Able to accurately inspect the process of Inventory Adjustment Reports (IARs).
9. Perform all other assigned duties as necessary.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

a. 5 years of related work experience with two years of leadership responsibilities. Prior military
supply experience is a plus.
b. Excellent computer, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required. Computer
skills include a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
c. Considered an expert in the following LIS: GCSS, LIW, and LMP.
d. Formal training: Current certifications on GCSS and LMP.
e. High School graduate or equivalent.
f. Must be able to meet and maintain all base access security requirements.
g. Must be able to meet and maintain all LIS access requirements (Common Access Card).
